A few weeks ago I was spending some time making photographs of the kiteboarders and windsurfers along the coast at Cottesloe. They are not the subject for this blog but what is the subject was i noticed the way the late afternoon sun was creating lovely light along the landscape.
i put my camera in portrait mode on my tripod and framed the shot with the leading line of the white sand and same time I wanted to capture the clouds in the sky as I liked the formation.
I had tried landscape mode but the scene looked to cluttered and plus I couldn't fit the clouds in the way I wanted.
It seemed to work reasonably well.
