Hi All,
Welcome to My Photographic Observations.
Today I have a photograph I made one evening at the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
The story is I had seen the fishing boat and thought the ferris wheel would be great as a background.
I framed the shot but initialy with my 16-35mm wide angle lens and realized it wouldnt work from my vantage point as the ferris wheel looked to far away.
I swapped that lens with my 28-300mm lens and zoomed in to about 100mm and the compression bought the Ferris wheel closer.
Here is the photograph.
If there is one thing I will do different is next time make the photograph at the blue hour as the sky is too black. The thought is there and so will look into it.
Having said that it might be a while as we have to self isolate.
I wish everyone well in this time of covid-19.
Thankyou for taking the time to read.
As always if you have any thoughts or comments pleas leave below.
Vedran
Nice one Vedran, Great story and photo, I use my 28mm to 300mm, all the time, so under rated lens , but I think it’s awesome and one gets good work out carrying it around....Ha Ha. Take care Mate, Cheers Dave.
ReplyDeleteThankyou Dave, always appreciative of comments. As you say always under rated that focal length. Some people complain its not sharp but I think the sweet spot is f8. a great focal range and with a 16-35 makes all the range needed.,
