Hi All,
Welcome to My Photographic Observations.
Today on my mind is when is the best light. I was at a well known place in Fremantle and thought I would make a time lapse and make a photograph or two.
The place was the Fremantle Monument. It was on top of a hill and it has nice manicured lawns and palm trees around.
It is a War Memorial for soldiers for the main wars and loss of life where Australians participated.
I framed up my composition and adjusted for the light and correctly exposed.
I took a couple of photos and then I proceeded with a time lapse which I will share at some point I think.
Here is the first and main photograph.
The sun broke through the clouds just for a short while and from there when I finished I looked behind me as I knew sunset was coming.
The second photograph I turned around and it looked like some colour in the sky was possible as therthere was a slight break on the horizon.
I quickly set up my shot and framed it so the scene was mainly sky as best I could.
As you can see the two palm trees were nicely positioned with the sun in the middle. The colour was a fiery red which made the clouds spectacular.
Thankyou for taking the time to read My Photographic Observations.

These Photographs were made before the covid-19 restrictions.
