Early Morning Yachts

Hi All,

Welcome to My Photographic Observations.

This pic that I will talk about was taken one morning in 2013.
I got up early to go to work and at the same time I had time to take
a couple sunrise pics.

I will share those other sunrise, early morning pics in a later blog post.
I liked the golden glow as photo was taken half hour approx after sun up.
The sun was to the right of the photo out of site obviously but I loved
the masts on the boats and with Perth city in the background and the
verticals being the masts and the buildings.

I used a tripod for this shot as it was with me at the time and I felt inspired.
I often take my tripod with me but am a bit lazy to use but when I do I am glad.
The tripod is from Really Right Stuff and the ball head is a BH55.
A very solid combination and easy to use and flexible.

I loved the reflections on the water of the Yachts and to me I found overall a
pleasing composition.

South Perth Yacht Club is where these Yachts are. Camera used was a Nikon D610
full frame camera. It may look a little underexposed but this is the way I remember
the scene.

I hope you liked my pic and story and I hope you all come back and read more of
My Photographic Observations.

All are welcome to make a comment whether good or bad as I love to have some feedback
