More From Tanah Lot

Hi All,

Welcome again to My Photographic Observations.

A few days ago I posted a sunset from Tanah Lot in Bali.
Its amazing when you wait for the correct conditions to occur and
you get a lovely colourful photo.

I was still at the beach and within a short while after I took the first photo
the sun decided to make a late appearance.
I liked the line of the light on the water to the shore and just had to click.
As I said in previous post I had no tripod but had to hand hold.

Ideally a tripod is a must if you want a clear sharp photo but in this case it was OK.

I liked the silhouette on the right and added a bit of interest to the overall photo.

Thank you for reading and hope you leave any comments below if you have any.

Tanah Lot Sunset In Bali

Hi All,

Welcome to My Photographic Observations.

It has been a little while since my last post, so I was thinking to restart again.
I will be more true to what I see around and will dabble in all sorts of observations.

I was in Bali last year in November with a couple of friends and we visited Tanah Lot.
It is a fabulous place with lovely beaches and a temple on a rocky out crop out in the ocean.

I didnt want to take the normal shots of the temple so decided to shoot in a completely different direction down on the beach.
After a short walk and climbing down the stairs of the cliff we got to the beach
It was close to sunset and I decided to take a photo because the sunset was looking so good.
I adjusted all my settings and took the click hand held.
I didnt have a tripod with me so I had to do the best hand holding I could do.

I like the waves coming in and the understated sun which was more to the right hand side.
I kind of liked this subtle effect with the rocks on the right hand side.

I hope you all liked the post and pic and hopefully you will all leave a comment if you choose too down below.
